Combination Hydronic Heating Systems

Hydronic systems can be designed at the time of construction to be whatever you want. There are many options and combinations to choose from…

Nissl Eichert can design your hydronic system utilising a combination of both underfloor slab heating and radiator panels tailored to the construction of your house, your lifestyle, and your preferences.

If you are building a new house with a concrete slab on the ground floor and polished wooden floors upstairs. That’s no problem. You can have underfloor slab heating downstairs with radiators upstairs. These can work together or independently. They can also be programmed to run at different times and temperatures. Of course, you could have radiators on both levels if you’d prefer.

This is a gentle, silent ambient all-encompassing form of heating with no visible heating equipment inside the house other than the thermostat controller. This unobtrusive, luxurious and efficient form of Hydronic heating ensures there are no restrictions with the placement of your furniture in future, giving you complete design freedom.

This is the type of heating you turn on at Easter time and turn off when Spring starts as the system takes longer to heat than radiators.

Radiators are a whisper quiet more reactionary type of heating, reacting much faster than in slab hydronic heating. They radiate heat into the middle of the room and gently warm the air by convection simultaneously, without the dry blasting heat of ducted heating.

By programming the thermostat, you can turn the radiators on an hour before everyone gets out of bed in the morning and program them to then turn off when everyone is out of the house during the day. Then you can program them to turn on and warm the house an hour before everyone gets home from school or work in the afternoon.

This cycle can be repeated or entirely different depending on the day depending on your needs. You can also manually control the entire system and even have individual radiators adjusted to suit your individual comfort.

Why Install a Hydronic Combination System?

Combination hydronic systems feature all the advantages of hydronic heating with the added benefit of allowing you to customise a hydronic heating solution for individual areas of your home. Just like regular hydronic heating systems you’ll enjoy the overall energy efficiency through to the hypoallergenic aspects, allowing everyone to breathe easy.
